Jim Bryce harvesting 60 acres of grain maize with a tracked Claas Lexion 580 in mid November (a first in the area a far as we know). This was followed by a Horsch CO4 drill from H.B.H (Farming) Ltd, drilling wheat successfully through the maize stalks and mulch in a one pass operation. (Unfortunately they forgot their camera during the drilling operation). Success or otherwise will be judged in March.
